Vollzwirn-Hemden aus 100% Baumwolle – in Classic Fit und Slimline

Ein gutes Hemd muss im Alltag vor allem eines leisten: sauber sitzen, gepflegt wirken und verlässlich solo, über Strick oder unter Sakko funktionieren.

Genau darauf ist unsere Kollektion ausgelegt. Unsere Hemden bestehen aus 100% Baumwolle in Vollzwirn 100/2 x 100/2 mit Strukturmerkmalen wie Fil-à-Fil, Popeline oder Pinpoint Oxford. Der Stoff ist weich und leicht im Griff, bleibt dabei strapazierfähig und zeigt ein hohes Knittererholungsvermögen – ein klarer Vorteil für lange Tage im Büro, auf Reisen oder bei Anlässen.

Produziert in Portugal - mit echten Perlmuttknöpfen, herausnehmbaren Kragenstäbchen, einen für den perfekten Sitz entscheidenden etwas längeren Schnitt und die zweigeteilte Schulterpartie (Split Yoke) - sind diese Hemden auf Substanz und Alltagstauglichkeit ausgelegt.

Dazu kommen Kappnähte an Seiten und Ärmeln mit enger Stichdichte sowie über Kreuz angenähte Knöpfe, ein kleiner Extraknopf am Ärmelschlitz sowie der eingestickte John Crocket Schriftzug auf der Innenseite der Rückenpasse. Je nach Modell befindet sich eine Brusttasche auf der linken Vorderseite sowie Sportmanschette oder Umschlagmanschette.

Die Auswahl ist bewusst klar aufgebaut: Kent, Button-Down und Cut Away. Dazu kommen Classic Fit oder Slimline sowie reguläre und lange Ärmellängen – damit das Hemd je nach Kragenform, Einsatz und Statur präzise gewählt werden kann.

Leinen ist atmungsaktiv, temperaturausgleichend und trägt sich luftig leicht ohne dabei die Eleganz zu verlieren. Denn unser Leinenhemd ist als Klassiker aufgebaut und setzt auf einen Button-Down-Kragen mit zwei Knöpfen. Dazu kommen abgerundete Manschetten, ein Extraknopf am Ärmelschlitz und eine Brusttasche auf der linken Vorderseite. Die Knöpfe sind aus echtem Perlmutt. Perfekt für stylisch lässige Outfits oder informellen Business- bzw. Festlichen-Look.

FAQ

What does two-fold yarn 100/2 x 100/2 mean?

Often also called 2-ply, it describes warp x weft. It means the fabric is woven from fine, two-fold yarn (Nm 100/2) in both the lengthwise direction (warp) and the crosswise direction (weft). The result is an exclusive shirting fabric that stands for high-quality, fine and hard-wearing quality.

How do Fil-à-Fil, poplin and pinpoint Oxford differ?

Fil-à-Fil (end-on-end) is a type of weave. It means yarn against yarn and is a structured, colour-woven fabric made up of two differently coloured threads (shirts SP2151 and SP21077). Poplin describes a dense over-under weave structure. This produces a strong, hard-wearing fabric that is not very prone to creasing, with a silky-looking surface. Shirts here come in solid/plain, gingham check, houndstooth, bold, candy, reverse and Bengal stripes as well as pinstripe. Pinpoint Oxford is a blend of poplin and Oxford, which gives the Oxford a finer feel and a lustrous surface. Oxford is distinguished by a basket-weave structure (shirt SP2480).

Which collar and fit combinations are available?

Kent is available in Classic Fit with a double cuff and in Slim Fit with a rounded two-button barrel cuff. Button-Down is only available in Classic Fit with a rounded two-button barrel cuff. Cut Away is only available in Slimline with a double cuff.

What is the advantage of regular and long sleeve lengths?

The additional choice of length helps to match the shirt cleanly to arm and body length. This reduces compromises in fit and ensures that the sleeves and body stay proportioned harmoniously. In a business context in particular, this makes a clear difference to the overall look.

What is decisive for a well-fitting shirt?

The slightly longer cut keeps the shirt cleanly tucked into the trousers. The two-part shoulder section, the so-called split yoke, improves the fit across the shoulders and supports a calmer line, particularly under a jacket or knitwear.

Are there any further construction details?

One important detail is the flat-felled seams on the sides and sleeves with a tight stitch density. They stand for clean workmanship and durability. In addition there are cross-stitched buttons that stay firmly in place in everyday wear, as well as a small extra button on the sleeve placket.

Which collar suits whom?

Kent is a versatile classic and stands for the classic business collar that works with or without a tie. Cut Away, for a more open, more striking neckline, looks distinctive under a jacket. Both collars are also a safe and elegant choice for formal outfits. Button-Down looks sportier and goes particularly well with tweed, knitwear, corduroy and smart casual.
