Crocket's boots

Goodyear-welted boots for men – robust rubber soles for autumn & winter.

Boots for Men
Our boots are made for the months when everyday life and the weather demand more: Goodyear-welted in Spain, with leather from European tanneries and a robust, grippy rubber sole. That makes these models especially practical for autumn and winter – stable underfoot, reliable on wet ground and at the same time stylistically clear in the John Crocket look.

The range includes boots with a clean look (plain) as well as versions with punching if you prefer more texture. Goodyear-welted construction means: shape-retaining, long-lasting and fundamentally repairable – a solid investment rather than seasonal stock. The boots are unlined, which keeps them versatile to combine (with the right socks you can adjust warmth to the day).

For complete looks, we especially recommend boots with corduroy trousers, tweed jackets & waistcoats or tweed suits. Care remains simple: brush regularly, apply polish sparingly depending on use, then buff – you will find shoe polish and brushes in our shop.

FAQ

What are the boots best suited for?
For autumn and winter, as well as any day when you need more grip and robustness – without forgoing a clean, classic look.
What advantages does the goodyear-welted construction offer in boots?
It ensures high stability and shape retention, becomes very comfortable to wear once broken in, and is built for long-term use. In addition, the construction is fundamentally repairable – a significant lever for longevity and lasting value.
Are there more understated styles, or ones with details too?
We stock both: plain styles as well as variants with perforation (punching) for more character.
Are the boots lined?
No – this keeps them versatile. You manage warmth practically through socks and layering.
How do I care for boots with a rubber sole properly?
Let them rest after wearing, and regularly apply a little polish and buff. Allow moisture to dry (not on a radiator), then condition them. We stock brushes and shoe polish in our range.
Where are the boots made and where does the leather come from?
Our boots, too, come from the family-run factory in Spain, where father and daughters work hand in hand. The family's experience goes back 50 years of shoemaking. The cattle and calf leathers, sourced exclusively in Europe, are vegetable-tanned.
