A tailored tweed jacket takes its cue from the suit: shorter, with interlining, worn with a three-piece suit or with suit trousers. A tweed jacket fits more loosely, works with corduroy trousers, jeans and knitwear, and fastens with a zip or press studs instead of a button placket.
