Our black Chelsea boots with a purple insert combine sporty ruggedness with elegance. The classic slip-on boot with elastic side gussets dates back to an invention by a shoemaker to Queen Victoria in the 1830s. The purple insert adds a distinctive accent. They are built on a slimmer-looking last for an elegant silhouette.

Construction and materials

They are Goodyear welted in Spain, in a family-run workshop with more than 50 years of experience. The upper is vegetable-tanned cow leather from European tanneries. The cork midsole forms an individual footbed that is particularly comfortable and kind to the feet.

• Upper: genuine leather (vegetable-tanned)
• Lining and insole: genuine leather
• Outsole: genuine leather
• Heel: reinforced with rubber
• Closure: elastic side gussets (slip-on)
• Construction: Goodyear welted
• Production: Spain

Note: This boot runs quite large, so we recommend choosing one full size smaller.

Chelsea boots go exceptionally well with corduroy trousers, tweed jackets or tweed suits. To look after them, we recommend our shoe care products.
