Geelong knitwear feels even softer to the touch than lambswool. Geelong is 100% wool from the very first shearing of specially bred Australian lambs. The fibre is finer than lambswool. It is so soft and fine that it reminds even connoisseurs of cashmere. The short, twisted fibres of Geelong wool trap a great deal of air, so they provide excellent warmth at a low weight. Naturally, the Geelong sleeveless cardigan keeps its shape after washing too.
