The Monk in Wine opts for a double buckle instead of laces and so brings a touch of extravagance to the classic men's shoe. The two straps give the monk strap its unmistakable character and make it catch the eye without looking showy.

Construction and materials

Goodyear welted in Spain by a family-run workshop with over 50 years of experience. The upper is vegetable-tanned cowhide from European tanneries. Over time, the cork filling between insole and outsole moulds itself into an individual footbed.

• Upper: genuine leather (vegetable-tanned)
• Lining and insole: genuine leather
• Outsole: genuine leather
• Heel: reinforced with rubber
• Closure: double buckle (2 straps)
• Construction: Goodyear welted
• Production: Spain

The Monk goes particularly well with a suit or a jacket and corduroy trousers. A versatile shoe for the office, business events and refined leisure wear.
