Our silk cravat with a Macclesfield pattern in Orange is worn inside an open shirt collar, where a necktie would be too formal. The Macclesfield pattern is built from small-scale geometric motifs. It takes its name from the English silk town of Macclesfield, where these designs originated.

Made from 100% silk, 122 cm long with a 15 cm blade. The silk gives the fabric its sheen and lets it fall softly once the cravat sits in the collar.

How to wear an ascot

Lay the cravat loosely around the neck, cross the ends over one another and tuck them into the shirt collar. It needs no knot. A tie pin holds the folds in place, but it is not required.

Wear it with shirts worn open at the collar, under a jacket, a cardigan from our knitwear or a tweed jacket. A pocket square completes the look.
