Cashmere for women is pleasantly elegant knitwear that sits close to the body and works reliably in everyday life.

Our cashmere is made in Scotland and covers two clear directions: 2-ply cashmere for light, close-fitting looks and 6-ply cable knit for a stylishly relaxed look.

The 2-ply jumpers are cut short and close to the body, add little bulk and are particularly well suited to everyday life, the office, travel and indoors. The material warms without feeling heavy and, thanks to the fibre's temperature-regulating properties, remains comfortable through changes in temperature.

If you like wearing a blouse underneath, it is best to choose the jumper one size larger.

The collection includes jumpers in long and short sleeves with V-neck and crew neck, roll necks as well as cardigans with crew neck and V-neck. The cardigans in particular can be combined as a twin set with especially coherent results.

For a different look there is the 6-ply cashmere cable knit: 100% cashmere, crew neck, made in Scotland and with a relaxed fit. It has more presence in an outfit and goes very well with tweed, Marlene trousers or denim. Worn oversize, it looks casually elegant and creates a statement look.

What is the difference between 2-ply and 6-ply cashmere?

2-ply cashmere is lighter, adds less bulk and is very well suited to layering and indoor wear. 6-ply cable knit is considerably more substantial, has more presence and is recommended for particularly cold days and for outfits where a statement piece is wanted.

How do the 2-ply women's cashmere pieces fit?

The 2-ply models are close-fitting and cut rather short. If you wear the jumper on its own, that is often exactly the right fit. If you regularly want to wear a blouse underneath, we recommend going one size up.

Can the cardigans be worn as a twin-set?

Yes, that is exactly what they are very well suited to. The crew-neck and V-neck cardigans combine excellently with matching cashmere tops and create a calm, coherent look for business and everyday wear.

Is 2-ply cashmere warm enough?

Yes. 2-ply cashmere is light but keeps you reliably warm. It is especially practical when you are out in changing temperatures or do not want bulkier, heavier knit qualities.

Is cashmere also suitable for warm interiors?

Cashmere works very well here, because the fibre is temperature-regulating. This helps you wear the jumper comfortably in heated rooms too, without the look becoming 'too warm'.

How is the 6-ply cable knit cut?

The 6-ply cable knit has a loose cut and a crew neck. Thanks to the higher yarn density, it has a stronger drape and is ideal if you want a more pronounced knit look.

How do I best combine women's cashmere?

2-ply jumpers work very well with a skirt or Marlene trousers and can be worn under a blazer. Cardigans worn as a twin-set look particularly pulled-together. The 6-ply cable knit goes with tweed, tailored trousers or denim when the outfit calls for an eye-catcher.

How do I care for knitwear properly?

Hand wash at a maximum of 30°C using a wool detergent, or use the wool or delicates programme at a maximum of 600 rpm. Dry flat on a towel spread out over a clothes airer. Never put it in the tumble dryer!
